Our house is located in Sotta, a charming little village nestled in the heart of southern Corsica, which has its roots in prehistoric times. Traces of occupation dating back to -1900 are discovered in various sites, such as the Tappa site and the Cagna plateau, as well as the Oriu di Canni, a converted cave used as a habitat. Among the architectural treasures that the village contains, the Bitalza sheepfolds stand out. Partly restored by owners keen to preserve this mountain heritage, they house two chapels and offer an exceptional panoramic view, clinging to the sides of the mountains. Accessible by a pleasant hike on a clear day, these sheepfolds are a real gem.

Our cottage will allow you to fully explore the south of Corsica, ideally located between Porto-Vecchio, Bonifacio, Figari and Alta Rocca. You will be able to discover all the facets of this region: the turquoise waters, the white sand beaches, the boat excursions, the water activities, but also the mountains ideal for hiking and swimming in the river. Add to this the rich local heritage, whether architectural, culinary or artisanal, and you will be sure to have a memorable stay.

In your accommodation, comfort will be there with three magnificent bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large living room-kitchen opening onto the terrace and the garden as well as a 7m by 3.5m swimming pool, all air-conditioned for offer you a pleasant freshness at the end of the day. The peaceful atmosphere of the hamlet will allow you to recharge your batteries, while enjoying the gentle song of the birds. A perfect vacation in perspective!!

About the swimming pool:
​
The swimming pool is managed using the Vigipool application. The swimming pool is salt treated (there is no chlorine), and it is heated by a heat pump. There is also a protective roller shutter to allow you to protect the swimming pool.
